What are the benefits to spaying/neutering my pet?

What is a Spay?

Spaying is a surgical procedure that involves removal of a female dog's ovaries and the uterus. This operation is performed to prevent unwanted pregnancies and can also help reduce the risk of certain health issues, such as uterine infections (pyometra's) and breast tumors.

What is a Neuter?

Neutering is a surgical procedure that removes a dog's testicles, helping to prevent litters and reduce behavioral issues. It also lowers the risk of health problems like testicular cancer.

What is a Lepto vaccine?

The Lepto vaccine is designed to protect dogs against leptospirosis, a serious bacterial infection, and leptospiruria (urinary shedding of the bacteria). The vaccine helps prevent the disease and reduces the risk of dogs shedding the bacteria in their urine, which can be a source of infection for other animals and humans
